# Pricing

> Pay-as-you-go credits: what each endpoint costs, how the minimum charge works, and how to keep costs down.

You pay only for what you use. Credits are bought on your [dashboard](https://twitterapi.io/dashboard) and never need a monthly plan.

**100,000 credits = \$1.00**

## Common endpoints

| What you get | Credits | Roughly per 1,000 |
| - | - | - |
| Tweet (search, timelines, replies, quotes, lists, communities) | 15 per tweet | \$0.15 per 1k tweets |
| User profile (`/twitter/user/info`, batch under 100 users) | 18 per user | \$0.18 per 1k profiles |
| Batch user profiles, 100 or more users in one call (`batch_info_by_ids`) | 1 per user | \$0.01 per 1k profiles |
| Followers / followings, 200+ users in one page | 1 per user | \$0.01 per 1k users |
| Followers / followings, 100–199 users in one page | 2 per user | \$0.02 per 1k users |
| Followers / followings, under 100 users in one page | 3 per user | \$0.03 per 1k users |
| Follower IDs, 4,000+ IDs in one page | 0.45 per ID | \$0.0045 per 1k IDs |
| Follower IDs, 200–3,999 IDs | 1 per ID | \$0.01 per 1k IDs |
| Follower IDs, under 200 IDs | 2 per ID | \$0.02 per 1k IDs |
| Verified followers (`verifiedFollowers`, 20 per page) | 3 per follower | \$0.03 per 1k followers |
| User "about" / Space details | 30 per call | — |
| Check follow relationship | 100 per call | — |

The exact price for each endpoint is shown at the top of its page in the API reference.

## Minimum charge

Every successful request costs at least **15 credits** (\$0.00015), even when it returns no data, because we still have to query upstream.

## Free starter credits

New accounts get free credits to try the API. Bonus and promotional credits have an expiry date, shown on your dashboard.

## Keeping costs down

* **Use the largest page size.** Followers, followings and follower IDs get cheaper per user when a page returns more results.
* **Batch profile lookups.** Looking up 100 or more users with `batch_info_by_ids` costs 1 credit each instead of 18.
* **Narrow your searches.** Add `since_time:` / `until_time:` to advanced search queries so you don't page through results you've already seen.
* **Stop on `402`.** A script that keeps retrying after its credits run out just wastes time. See [Errors](/errors).

## Subscriptions

Monthly plans add bonus credits and higher rate limits (Scale: 50 requests per second, Business: 500). See [twitterapi.io/pricing](https://twitterapi.io/pricing) and [Rate limits](/rate-limits).
